You’ll hate this book

The previous readers of this book, circa 1972-1974 at East View High School in White Plains, NY, have graciously informed all future readers that this book would be hated. It lacks the usual high school book markings, such as completely made-up names, or irrelevant historical ones, on the ‘loaned to’ list. Additionally, from the angle at which students have written their own names, it’s pretty clear that the corner of the cover had been torn off long before the school decided to replace it.
