"dragonfly"
2002. 6 x 10ish. drypoint
etching.
first in a series of insect women prints, etched into zinc.
anatomical distortions are intentional - i swear. done to mimic the long, relatively curveless body of the dragonfly itself.
is the dragonfly a harmful parasite, a ritualistic costume, a punishment? can it help her to fly? and what's up with her hands?
don't ask me.
